iTunes Metro For Windows by sunkotora iTunes Metro For Windows by sunkotora
iTunes 11, inspired by Windows 8.

Theme works with iTunes 11.1.3 and 11.1.4

How to Install:

Go to C : >Program files>itunes>iTunes.Resources then find the file .dll that you want to replace, here is itunes.dll and rename it to itunes.dll.bak .

- Then copy the new itunes.dll , from the zip file[unzip it first] to C :>Program files>itunes>iTunes.Resources

>>UPDATE<< :

- Old windows 7 buttons remplaced by flat buttons (for itunes windows 7 version)
- fixed some bugs

>>UPDATE 2<<

- Changed sidebar color ( for artists view)
- Many itunes buttons remplaced by flat buttons
- Shadow  (for Cover Art) removed
- iTunes store original scrollbar remplaced :
--> you need to replace original files by custom scrollbar (included in zip archive) to C:>Program files>itunes>iTunes.Resources>

There will be NO more updates for this theme.

How did you mod the dll? I would like to just change the color, also great work! it blends perfect (if I use grey tho)

Thanks. I have a question though. I'm going to guess that the colours of the artist bar and the frame are located in the dll file. How would I go about editing these as I wish to make my own theme too?

How difficult is it to update the theme? Because iTunes 11.5 is out already, but I'm trying not to update it until you update the theme :)

I don't use windows anymore and itunes 11.5 is a minor update. I'm a linux user and I just wanted to make a windows version for itunes and windows users. Sorry :( (Sad)

Oh, it's okay :)

But does that mean you won't be updating it anymore since you're not using Windows anymore?

Also wanted to add that this works on 64bit Windows 8.1 too. The iTunes.Resources folder is located in Program Files (x86) -> iTunes etc.
Follow instructions with iTunes closed and voila!
Thanks a lot for this :D

I did notice one bug, though: on my PC there is, like, a 1px white border on the right side of the main window. It's not really noticeable but it's there.

Here's what it looks like:
